At DelvAway, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible and to know you are free from judgment. The information shared with your therapist will remain confidential. Please note however, by law, as it pertains to the safety of yourself and others, if there are any instances of abuse – whether that be child or elder abuse, harm to yourself or others, the therapist may take measures to ensure the safety of you and others. 

During this session, the therapist will meet with you and gather background history to get to know you better. You will also be able to discuss current symptoms and determine which treatment methods will best suit you. 

This is the same as a regular intake session, however, parents will participate in the session as well. Background information will be collected from both parent and minor and a discussion will be held to determine next steps along with gaining information regarding the therapeutic process. 

You and your therapist will discuss current issues and formulate goals for treatment. This is important as this will help guide your sessions and to ensure you are making progress. 

You and your therapist will determine how often you will meet. During these sessions you will discuss and process issues that are affecting you. It is important to attend your sessions on a consistent basis to maximize progress. 

You and your therapist will discuss what learning styles best suits you. Homework may be given to you in order to aid in reinforcing techniques learned in your therapy sessions. Examples of homework can include: journaling, reading, practicing breathing exercises, practicing self care, and more. 

SELF PAY sessions are as followed:

• Intake Sessions: $155
• Follow Up Sessions: $155

INSURANCES:

We are currently in the process of being paneled with insurances. At this time, we are accepting commercial insurances:  AETNA, CIGNA (Evernorth), United Health Care (Optum, Oscar, UHC Student Resources) and MEDICARE. For all other insurances, we would be considered out of network but can provide you with a SUPERBILL for insurance reimbursement if it’s needed.

Virtual sessions also known as “telehealth” sessions are professional psychotherapy sessions provided to you over the internet. You can connect to your session via computer or through your phone. To ensure you are receiving the best virtual session and to closely mimic an in person session, please have reliable internet, have your audio and video turned on, make sure you are not actively driving, and be in a private environment where you can speak freely.
